Hi miss, for an essay on euthanasia, I understand you cannot simply say natural law supports it or does not, as it is subjective. Would you have to, in an essay, say: Naturall aw might support it because… however they might not because…. Or can i just use tentative language and only present one of their interpretted views

Often essays are more developed when you explore the application down multiple differing avenues and use this to formulate your line of argument. So having a strong viewpoint for or against the application of NL to euthanasia is very good and often you can do this by exploring how well it is applied to different issues and ideas. For example NL might work really well when dealing with sanctity of life but then not as good with personhood and this is where your evaluation and discussion would come in 🙂

Ah right ok thank you, so could I say something like ‘Whilst natural law seems ot be strong when considering (for example) personhood, it falls short drastically through its disregard of the individuality of situations… Therefore the negatives outweigh the benefits…. Something like that? Thanks so much
